Because It's Better To Be Irrational With Me Than Rational With Someone Else

And That Is How Things Present Each Other

So the facts (and not in any particular order of importance) are these:

1/ my research advisor received a career achievement award. what does that mean to me? no more teaching. more money. yes!
2/ my christmas was okay, spent it with my best friend.
3/ my best friend wants me and my new bf to work out. i was taken aback, since he really really loves me... that friend of mine.
4/ my bf has the same number of problems as i do. strangely his life and my life are so similar that i am considering i might have met my double from a parallel world.
5/ post-christmas but pre-new-year's trip to Boston and NYC turned out to be the suckiest thing EVER.
6/ New Years .... don't remember it much.
7/ broke my elbow. slipped down icy stairs, and landed all my weight on the elbow.
8/ got high for the second time in my life. this time, semi-successfully.
9/ i am both ready and not ready for about anything that is awaiting me in the following two weeks.
